About Deira Brethren Assembly

The Deira Brethren Assembly was started in 1977 with a few members who were till then in fellowship with the Dubai Christian Assembly. The first gathering was held on Sunday, 31st July 1977 at the "Arab Unity School" near Jamal Abdul Nasser Square, Deira. Later, on 15th November 1977, the Assembly moved to Ibrahim Manzil, near Al Maktoum Hospital, Deira, and thereafter shifted to the Holy Trinity Church premises on 18th April 1993. From the commencement of the gathering in 1977 till 1990, the name of the Assembly was "Dubai Brethren Assembly". However, the place of gathering was in Deira, the assembly was generally known elsewhere as "Deira Brethren Assembly", hence the name was formally changed to the present name of DEIRA BRETHREN ASSEMBLY, in 1990.

Our Almighty God has blessed this Assembly over the past 33 years and the present strength is about 350 members taking part in the Lord’s Table.
